Hello Mr. N.C. House District 76

"Real success is finder your lifework in the work that you love. "   Just a few shots from the fundraiser for Carl Ford who is running for N.C. House District 76.  Cheerwine, food, family and FUN..........

M.D. Ford, Carl's father, gives a little talk about Carl.  As you can see Carl is laughing in the background...trust me, his father told some great stories on Carl.  We were all laughing!  This is when I needed a "sound bite".
This is priceless!  To catch someone else making Carl laugh this hard is great to capture on film.

If anyone knows Angela, Carl's wife, then you can appreciate this photo.  She can make you crack up....

...but don't forget, behind every man, is a good woman.

Maybe Angela should run for office too.....

We were very excited to have Richard Hudson, candidate for Congress come and speak

Part of the "Ford" clan....

Angela's father, Pastor Garland Faw speaking.

More Ford family....

Fall and More Plowboys

I can feel fall in the air!!!!!  I love shooting photos in the fall.  It's like God paints a canvas ready for us to enjoy.  He cools the temperature so we don't sweat quite as bad while we are working on the perfect portrait.  Come on fall!!!

Here's a few more images from The Gospel Plowboys.  I love to capture emotion.  Musicians are very emotional about their instruments.  Catching that in a photo is priceless....

Presenting The Gospel Plowboys

Gospel PlowboysGos

Oh Blue Grass, how I love thee.....Had a blast with this group of guys. The Gospel Plowboys were a joy to work with.  I just love the "Depression" era theme that they are using.   This is the era that Blue Grass music was born out of and with our economy and nation in such a mess, what better way to relate to each of us....just average "Joe's" trying to make it in the world.  Good stuff guys!!!

Love this look of "Summer Haze".....trust me it was HOT that morning so this was a little too close to reality!!!

Just doing what they do best!

Instruments of the trade......

This black and white of Mike Jenkins captures the joy of music.
